Louët Feisser oysters are the premium oyster of the Carlingford oyster company. These oysters are hand selected in the natural unspoilt conditions of Carlingford Lough. Grown for three years in suspended baskets, they have a characteristic teardrop shape. Expect a distinctly sweet, mineral style with a hint of citrus.
Originating in the 18th and 19th century in Victorian England, the beef and oyster pie quickly became a celebrated delicacy, combining expensive braised beef with the plentiful oysters of the time. We love a fried pickle, created in Arkansas in 1963!
